I like the guy but duriing last night’s Av’s telecast he said the Sharks
were “just treading water.” Excuse me? He must not realize the Sharks have
the NHL’s best winning percentage since Oct. 30. Wake up Barry!!

Hey this means we’re going to win it all. Didn’t Barry like the Sharks
in the past? And we all know his predictions are always wrong. Certainly
this bodes well for teal.

The Sharks have dropped from 7th to 10th in the ESPN Power rankings as well.
Im not sure where people are getting this ‘treading water’ perception

The Sharks got points in all of the last 5 games. In February the Sharks
went 8-3-0-1. January was 9-4-0-2. So perhaps Barry means their

The Sharks are “treading water,” like Dallas, i.e., winning almost all their
On the disturbing front, however, after watching the games against Chicago,
Vancouver and St. Louis, there should be concern about the way the Sharks
have been manhandled physically. Yes, they beat Chicago (big deal), but
lost to Vancouver when they were overcome by brute force, and they stole one
against St. Louis, where they were significantly outplayed, both physically
Against big, hard-hitting opposition in multi-game series, this does not
auger well for success. So, while Melrose may not be singing the Sharks’
praises, and the power rankings may be slipping, this is not entirely
without some justification.

Melrose bad mouthed the Stars all the way up until they won the Stanley Cup.
Then he bad mouthed them some more…. what a yutz. The Sharks are hot
right now and have had a great year. Screw Melrose.
