Although I'm quite sure you already know the answer, I'll give you the
"I'm from the USATT" explanation anyway. If one becomes a "League
Member" and plays matches in the USATT League program, that player
will get a USATT League rating, which is distinctly different from a
USATT "tournament" rating (they do both use the same algorithms for
rating calculation). Therefore, members can actually have separate
"league" and "tournament" ratings.

I can hardly wait to see what kind of creative legal threats you will
dream up in response.

Excuse me but, how do you figure that ?
I knew know several possibilities but did not know the
exact one, so stop putting Larry's **** in your mouth.

This question was asked for about a week & USATT
refused to answer until pressed again & again like this

Where is this explained in the webpage below if I may ask ?

http://www.usatt.org/news/2004_membership_rates.shtml

Unless you go in & quickly add it, just like you changed the
name of the Associate to Booster (very clever, Larry)

Well now that you asked I will explain the legal implications.
It is indeed deceptive advertising because you misled the
potential new members to believe that there are benefits
in becoming a League member, while there is almost zero.
(You get one issue of USATT magazine..big deal)

However when it comes to prosecution time, your
(USATT , IOC & ITTF's) criminal negligence of
glue abuse takes a much higher precedence.
So don't NOT worry.
