Default Any pratcing tool available?

Hi,

I like to pratice tt at home. Is there any convinient tool/device
available for practing alone? The robot is too expansive for me.
Flipping up one side of the table does not work out for me. Thanks.

There are many exercises one can do at home. Shadow stroking in
front of the mirror is good. You can buy a bunch of balls and
practice hitting them into the couch...fh and bh. Also, my Master
invented the Revolutionary Baby Powder Technique...whereby you place a
ball on the top of a baby powder container and then try to hit it off
using a bh snap kill stroke. Another great way to practice is simply
to walk around squeezing a tennis ball...one of the most common
problems with a lot of players is that the hand muscles are not as
developed as they could be and thus problems are created by not having
a grip which is good for the bh as well as the fh....watching world
class players is also a greay way to improve.....check out the videos
on this site..

No tool. But these solo exercises will help your backspin shots.

Serve the ball so slowly and with so much backspin that it returns to
you before it reaches the net.

Serve the ball so short and with so much backspin that it crosses the
net and then returns to the net instead of going off the end of the
table.

This is a good serve when playing a superior player: practice serving
so that the ball bounces twice after crossing the net.

Robots are OK, but they're not great.

Sorry, can't think of anything else..other than a

practice partner...or a mirror for strokes..or

a chalkboard or wall and draw a circle on it, and see

how many times you can chop on forehand or backhand to get

into the bullseye...or try to get a ball into a bucket

by lightly chopping it on backhand or forehand....

from short to lonnngggg distance...should be a competition

for that one..I would challenge on that one....that's it

for now, anyone else think of any???

Where do you live? :-)

"Robots are OK, but they're not great."

Lol, what a joke you are Ward Cleaver. The worst robot will always be
better than the best coach; get it right!

Try serving into the carpet to work on your spin. Flipping the table side is
useless, because it reverses spin

But your

1. claim to be the world's greatest athlete,
2. logging in under different names to praise yourself,
3. many cycles of challenging Hodges at TT and backing down, and
4. plagiarisms of goofy pseudo-Zen philosophy

are not a joke. Very clear. I like your precision of thought.

A smooth carpet (like indoor-outdoor) is better, because the reaction
of the ball will be due to its spin, rather than due to hitting some
bump in the carpet.

Not me grasshopper. Rick Anderson on the other hand is INDEED the
worlds best athlete, through the Cyberswordsman...and will prove it to
the world. Do you have trouble accepting this?

I only post as "Chico"; perhaps you are confused....yep, i would think so.

the Cyberswordsman has never backed down from anything. Poor boy, pay
attention. and

Nothing googy about Zen philosophy.

**** are you ever stupid.

Thank you. Now pick up the ball bitch.
