Mr. Rick Anderson would never show up for a challenge from me. But I'm ready
to play him for $2000 with sponge, then with a clipboard for $2000, and I
might even challenge him for $2000 sitting in a chair. I hope to do so in
front of a national audience, with money put up in advance. Easy money,
except he won't show. (Interestingly, he's sent some emails already to the
"rivals" people, but just like before, he'll back down. He always does.)

please, don't.

however, on the other hand, i think it'd really help us promoting
the sport if we could have Ashu Jain and Shodhan, Shashin on the show....

Hey Ricky, you have just been challenged , for money, by someone sitting in a
chair !. I dont think Larry could beat my grandmother from a chair, certainly
you, the worlds greatest dolt wouldnt have any problem

Years ago, I played in the Northern Virginia TT League when I had
appendicitis for a month (4 meets) - in a chair. I never lost to anyone
under 1800, and kept my rating around the 1850 level. (They let me start out
with a new rating in the chair.) Rick's about 1600.

I can play in achair pretty good. I beat a few 2300 rated players. I have
beaten steve berger in a chair. I could probably beat Marco in a chair. I
know Andre just recently beat Marco in a chair at a tournment in san diego.

andre was 2000 level for years in the chair. However, I think that the new
service rule and the larger ball hurt his game. He is now in the low
1900's. There is no shame in losing to Andre. That much being said, I
don't think he can beat me anymore.
