Default What is the Best Table?

I am looking to buy a new table for home use. I don't care about cost. I'm
just looking for top quality. I've heard that the Tibhar Smash 28/R is the
best available at the moment. Is that true? Anyone else have experience with
this or other tables they would like to share? Thanks.

You might also want to consider the Killerspin tables at http://www.killerspin.com

They are great quality, and very futuristic looking.

Lawrence,

The Butterfly Centerfold 25 is a very good choice too:

It's so tough that it should last you a lifetime. And it's very
dent/scratch resistant, unlike the Stiga tables.

The Tibhar 28R has a very inconsistent bounce. Yolu would be better
off choosing a top Butterfly table.

I haven't tried ther Tibhar tables. Butterfly tables are very good,
especially with the1" top. Ilike the blue surface for better contrast.
If you don't need to move it, get more bang for your buck with a
stationary table.

Spintech tables are also very good and have a nice light blue color
available.

Donic Dehli's are my favorite but Persson 25 must be even better - same
surface slightly thicker top.

though the comparible butterfly is great too -
both brands have a great surface, and the thicker top versions are even better.

I'm curious about some of the other brands, like Chinese tables, or the
Killerspin etc. - do they bounce more like the donics and b-flys or does the
ball 'slide' like the recent stiga's?

I just have trouble with some of the blue teflon like stiga's - hard to adjust
so I avoid those clusbs and tournaments.

the bounce isn't affected by spin so the spin is harder to read and more of it
gets to the reciever's racket
