Eagles fans are loud, rude and hostile but at least they lack the
Deadkins fans' sense of divine revelation and belief that their team
should win it all every year becuase of some mandate of heaven- oh and
no Eagles fan shows up to the game in a dress. After living in DC for 4
years I root for the Bucs and anyone who plays the Deadskins.

AMEN! I'm in the same boat. Moved to the DC area 10 years
ago, and have never been around more anoying fans then
Skins fans. EVERY year, "we're going to the play-offs!"
And every year except one (the one where they were beaten by the Bucs) their
team has stayed home in the last 10.
The most unrealistic fans I've ever encountered.
They live in a fantasy. Oh, when they win, everybody wears
their Skins gear, when they lose? You won't see a Skins
jersey for days. And for being a city with very little
other sports activity, the journalists here no nothing about the game.
I read the '03 Football Preview the other day in the Washington Post,
the writer stated, "the Giants will win the division because they have
added Hollis the kicker and Kuel the long snapper".
HELLL-LO! Those guys went on IR two weeks ago.
Then he went through all these injuries the Eagles had.
Funny thing, those happened during training camp
and those players are all completely healthy.
Then he laments the losses of Kirkland and Blaine Bishop.
PU-Lease! Their sports writers are complete homers.
That's why Skins fans are so un-educated when it comes
to football.

never forget Billy Kilmer. The guy threw the ugliest pass I've ever

I'm not any of those things of course there are Eagles fans like that, but I
think Eagles fans get a bad rep. Like if Eagles fans threw those beer
bottles
on the field and made the refs stop the game it would be all you hear about
still.
Hell you still hear how they booed Santa. The thing is first it happened
over thirty
years ago. Second he was just some drunk stumbling fan wearing a Santa suit.
I could go on, but what is the point people believe what they hear and you
always hear
about how bad the fans are here.
I agree about Redskins fans though. They come into the Eagles NG and talk
shit after
they beat the Jets and their 70 year old QB. What a freakin joke they are.
