Why do people like Al Michaels

Overall I dont mind Al Michaels, but when something like a close call or a
challenge happens, all of a sudden he starts babbling and getting ****ytical
but when he does that it sounds like he doesnt know a damn thing about
football and just took a class over the weekend or something. And then he
kinda changes his voice to emphasize some little condition he doesnt
understand and it just drives me nuts. I wish Madden would slap him. Anyone
agree ?

Actually I would love to see Michaels and Madden get into a boxing
match...winner gets to sit inthe booth with Lisa Guerrero....

I was using the radio guys for sound last night and what I'd like to know
is what were the MNF guys talking about when the camera kept zooming in on
John Wade's butt?

One reason I've always enjoyed radio announcers over the television guys
is that the T.V. people get too distracted by visual stimuli and
concentrate less on the game. Although, usually the distraction is
something more interesting than the center's butt!

They were making a valid point that the Wade sweats a TON. This effects the
football because it's going to be a little wetter and slippier than last
year. I just hope they don't use that as an excuse for turnovers. But
imagine how cold Johnsons hands are gonna be when John Wade has ice all
over his ass during winter.

He should have changed his pants at half time like they said he was
going to. For whatever reason.. he changed his mind.

He said the reason he didn't was because it would be just as sweaty. It's
like when they wipe off the ball when it rains. It may be dry for a play or
two but it's futile. He should be made to change those pants after every
drive. =)

You may not know this but Michaels has a guy next to him with a board and
the guy points out what Michael's is to say. I think that would explain his
change in the way he talks. I have noticed this myself.
