Sunshine's web site makes it seem like the only way to see Rays HD hames in
Tampa is Directv or Verizon Fios?

***********

WXPX, channel 66 does carry Rays games and does transmit in HD what
feeds they get that are HD format. SUN/FSN owned by Fox Sports. LIke
SUN/FSN WXPX is carried by Direct TV and Verizon FIOS. So in some
aspects their ads are true but a bit misleading.

Currently Direct TV has a very limited HD channel lineup. For local
channels in HD format in the Tampa area are 8, 10, 13 and 28. To
recieve WXPX in HD you need over the air system. I am not sure of
Verizon Fios broadcast choices.

Currently all terrestial stations are required to have HD transmit
capabilities. This does not mean that all their broadcasts need be in
HD. In fact not all of the prime time programming is transmitted in HD
on local channels.

Do you have Bright House cable? Quite a few games will air in HD on channel
651. You can check that channel for a list of games and start times. Today's
game is on ESPN in HD.
