Better question: isn't posting this in their newsgroup a bit of
a jerky thing to do? Red Sox people don't like it when other teams
crow about their victories in our group, why should Red Sox fans be
just as jerky to other team's fans? Losing ****s, why rub it in?

Come on, Skip. Keep your weird shit in-house. Inside the Red Sox
newsgroup it's amusing to some people. It's a jerk thing to do outside
it.

Bob-Nob, I agree it's a jerky thing to do in most cases. But I think in
this case it's just pointless. I doubt there are (m)any people in that
particular forest to hear the tree fall.

Perhaps. Still no reason to kick a dog when it's down. He did
the same thing last year a couple of times. He even did it in the
Tigers' newsgroup which really ****s (that's kicking a dead dog when
it's down, then shooting it in the head and pissing on it). I'm never
sure with Skip how much of his posts are deliberately insane and how
many are inherently insane; I figured I'd appeal now to his sense of
fairness before making the decision of whether or not to just killfile
him.

The Yankees, I can understand. I don't like it, but I understand
it, at least. Other teams? The Devil Rays??? Just a jerk thing to do.
