Well, as a Hab fan, I'm sorry to see the series end this way but I
have to send my Kudos to this bolt team. Very solid at every position.
Very entertaining to watch.

I'm now going to root for your team for the rest of the playoffs.

Hoping you get your first ever stanley cup win this year, GO BOLTS!

to the plate and batted:

To a certain extent but the whole team is fun to watch. Breaks the
tedium of clutching and grabbing that is prevalent in the east.

I'm sure they'll make short work of the Flyers or the leafs but what
I'm really looking forward to is the finals. TB vs. SJ would be a
fantastic series.

sometimes a mix of trolls and true fans cloud the posts, also
Canadiens take their hockey as serious as Americans take their
baseball.

I see a lot of NFL-NHL civic parallels here...

San Jose is in the same area as Oakland is, and plays a wide open/damn the
torpedoes style.

Tampa Bay could very well play Philadelphia in the conference final, and
Philly has been a very tough team to beat in recent years.

Hmmmmmmmmmm...............................

ABC would have a field day with this...I could see the intro...

The Tampa Bay Lightning, a laughingstock for so many years, has finally
turned the corner. Having dismissed the Philadelphia Flyers much the same
way their NFL brethren, the Buccaneers, tossed aside the Eagles in 2003, a
Tampa Bay team must now face yet again a team from the Bay Area, this time
the San Jose Sharks.

The Sharks aren't a "Just Win, Baby" team of overaged players though.

Hoenstly, I think everyone (including myself) need to stop drawing the NFL
parralels to the Stanley Cup Playoffs.

By the way - Philly vs. Tampa Bay was hatched because of a certain ice
hockey team making it's first ever playoff appearence against the Armpit of
America...

If I recall, Eric Lindros smashed Brian Bradley into the boards during that
first TB/PHL series and never got called for it......

Actually, I believe it was Michele Petit. He sat on the bench with
cotton thingies shoved up his nose & wound up with 2 black eyes that
made him look like a raccoon...
