How often are ml players tested for steroids and is it done by the
league or the team.

After watching Jason G, hit one out last
night against the Tribe,did anyone else
notice his eyes,they where nearly spinning
in their sockets and bugging out like crazy.

If the league is serious about substance
abuse then why not take a w away when
a player is caught for steroid use, and his
hit provides the winning run.

This would make players and owners
of teams like the yanks have second thoughts about cheating just to win.

Hit em where it hurts the most,it is
obvious suspensions do not work or
fines for that matter.Forfeiting a few
games for substance abuse would
change things in a hurry.

If i get caught driving under the influence
I loose my right to drive.Or if i use
a banned substance I go to jail,why
should it be any different just because
they are overpaid ego maniacs.


It boggles the mind to understand why
guys who make millions to play a "game"
would resort to short term gain to end up
with long time pain and suffering.

My guess Jason is back on the juice and
if the yankee brass knows it they should
be held accountable as well.

You'd never know there's a steroid problem listening to sports broadcasters.
They keep talking about the great things accomplished by McGwire, Sosa and
Bonds. They must be the only people on the planet who don't at least have a
suspicion that those three (and many others) were and are using drugs. Guess
they don't want to hurt the industry that pays their rent. The Sports
Industry.

I still watch the Jays. They play so badly they must be clean. The others
like Giambi and his buddies in New York make me sick. If Baseball Inc
doesn't do something to fix this problem the game will be so tainted records
won't mean anything to anyone.
