The style per se didn't bother me, it was more the execution and the
lack of ability I found surprising. Sinclair must have received
the ball 10 times with her back to the defender, and Canadian girls
cutting past her, and not once did she ever flick them the ball. Just
killed the rush. I found myself thinking is she just stupid and slow
or what ? [ We had a guy on one team I played for, great friend, good
player, but his brain just didn't fire that quickly. When he'd get the ball,
everyone else on the field might have well sat down and rested for a
minute until he could figure out what to do with the ball ].


I was really fascinated by that interview. It was like you say, but it also
was like she was so damn focused she was oblivious to the interview.
