Have to disagree MIke. The Canucks as of today, are not as good a team as
they were when they ended their playoff drive. All they've done is get rid of
Klatt, Letowski and possibly Baron and added nothing.

The Ducks are better today by adding Fedorov and Prospal while losing Kariya.
Minny just by their young guns having another year of experience, and good
playoff experience are also a better team imo. SL with a healthy Pronger are
better than this time last year and I can't remember what SL did. :-)

Klatt and Baron are both sliding down the retirement hill at a pretty
good pace. Losing both of them will not be as bad as keeping both of
them. May and Allen easily replace these 2. Letowski. Give me a
break. I like the guy's intensity, but he's not a loss at all. Ruttu
is about as good, albiet in a different style, Chubarov easily replaces
him, and Reid already is a big improvement over Letowski.

And Oats is gone, and Giggy playing back at his actual level, and not
way above his skill level

Just like the Canucks

Maybe. St Louis may actually be a bit better then last year..

But, you still lose 2-1 :-)
