Umberger

It's odd -- the Canucks brass seemed very keen to sign Kesler, but appear to
have cooled on Umberger for some reason. Umberger has basically been
begging to be signed to a pro contract, but the Canucks appear to be in no
hurry to do so. Interesting...

It's probably about money. Maybe Umberger's agent is asking for some fat
bonuses based on targets such as successfully lacing his skates or
staying alive
for at least 6 months.

It's also interesting to see how Kesler is being compared to Trevor Linden,
at least in terms of character.
