Illinois advances with a win over Louisville tonight

Illinois Defeats Louisville 3-0 in Second Round of NCAA Tournament
Illini earn Sweet Six**** trip to Hawaii

The 15th-seeded Fighting Illini volleyball team defeated Louisville in
second round NCAA tournament play in straight games by the score of
30-26, 30-26, 32-30, in front of 1,514 fans at Huff Hall Saturday
night. With the win, Illinois improves to 26-6 on the season, while
Louisville ends its season with a record of 25-6. With the victory,
Illinois advances to the Sweet Six**** for the first time since 1998.
The Illini head to Honolulu to face the No. 2 seed Hawaii in regional
semifinal action Friday, Dec. 12 with a start time still to be
determined.
