Interesting italian match-up

It just struck me that an interesting match up in Italy would be between the
national team of today and that which won the europen championship in 1989!
Still actve from that team: Paolo Toffoli (setter), Andrea Gardini (MB),
Andrea Giani (MB, OH, OP), Luca Cantagalli (OH), Marco Bracci (OH) and
Lorenzo Bernardi (OH).
Recently retired: Marco Martinelli (MB) and Ferdinando di Gi**** (S).
It should be possible to field a team capable of challenging anyone ...

Wow, six players are still active, 15 years later? That's very
impressive. They must have been very young in 1989, and they must have
really good conditioning (and good luck) to avoid career-ending injuries
for all this time.
