I'm thinking former 3B Casto (who surely couldn't have forgotten how to
play the position) because he has options.......
They're also waiting for the last minute in case anyone else wants to get
hurt.

I hope that's the right call. Doesn't really matter much, I guess. Manny
admits he's just throwing a lineup together on a daily basis.......

One thing I don't really understand about the Nats is how the give very
few chances to promising players, like Watson, Castro, Casto, Orr but
give infinite chances to slugs like Pena, Logan, and FLop.

(I'm going to stop slamming PLod. While he isn't that good, his head is
in the game and he's trying. Instead of just pinch hitting and get an
occasional late inning fill in spot, he's being forced to play positions
he is ill suited for to but a shine on Jimbo's bad signings.)

It seems hugely inconsistent. And if Pena does show something happening
at the plate, then he gets benched. I thought at least Casto would get a
longer look this time, rather than giving in to the veterans. And with the
various hints of lack of communication, I'm sure none of the guys know what's going on.

Maybe there's a method to the madness, but I'm not seeing it. Of course,
I'm not seeing the games, let alone the practices and workouts and clubhouse
shenanigans.
