Default Awesome win last night

Nice ABs from Hernandez (2-5, 2 rbi), Gonzalez (4-5, 2 rbi)(subbing for
the flu-ridden Guz), Milledge (3-5, 3 rbi) & Zim (2-5, 2 rbi, hr).

Milledge was picked off twice in one inning (not really, the Fish 1b
muffed the play allowing Lastings to take 2nd and he was credited with a
SB). Milledge then took off for 3b and was easily picked off.

The highlights shown in the 8th included 3 routine flyballs being caught
by our outfield. That's our highlight?

Martis was great. He got into trouble early, but then hits a groove
where he strikes out man after man. 4 in a row last night and 6 in a
row his last start (iirc). Shell and Hinckley had their usual good
stuff. Hinckley should be our set up guy next season.

I went, too, and it was a nice game.

Hinckley windup is really cool; I bet it confounds hitters; hopefully this
continues after batters get a first look at him.

We've got to be the dumbest team ever as concerns running the basepaths.

Milledge should *never* have a green light. He has no clue whether the
pitcher is throwing home or to first. How could this guy reach this
level with no common sense on the paths and without the ability to catch
anything but the most routine fly balls?

CBS has Lastings as player of the game. How they could pick him over
Alberto is beyond me. For the middle infield to go from poor and suspect to
a wealth of treasures is pretty cool.

I was out until the bottom of the 8th, and was resigned to see the bottom
of the order go 1-2-3 and hope that Hanrahan wouldn't blow it. And then, an
unbelievable outburst that drove a stake through the heart of the Marlins and eliminated them.

10 and 2/3 with a 0.00 ERA for Hinkley. Definitely makes the team next
year, and a great story.
