As a long time Phillies fan, and therefore a National League fan --
isn't 'designated hitter' what they use in the Women's Baseball
League? -- I'm thrilled the Nationals are now our hometown team. I'm
from Virginia, near Manassas, and couldn't find anybody to go in on a
season ticket plan (I now work for myself, everybody else works for
some other ogre -- HA!).

I've seen tickets advertised in the WPost classified, but am looking
for suggestions (best prices?) from any other new Nationals' fans.

Interested in any ideas, also insight on best/worst at RFK Stadium.

Hi there,

Winchester here. I just bought tickets off of the Nationals website.
Got tickets for seven games. I started to get the 20 ticket pack but
I'm afraid gas prices will be too high to run into the city that many
times. The Phillies are one of the teams I'm seeing. I've even got
my rooms booked for all the games.

The Designated Hitter is used in the American League.
