I just got an email from the Cox newsmaster and they admit to having a
problem and are working on correcting it.

From the Cox Newsmaster: Thanks for the follow up. We have confirmed
the issue you are seeing
and have discovered a problem in our newsgroup addition process. We are
working with our news server vendor to resolve this issue and will have
the alt.sports.baseball.wash-nationals articles available on the Cox
news server as soon as possible.

Thank you for your patience while we resolve this issue and thanks for
using Cox High Speed Internet news services.
