Finally hit one at home. Last one was August of 05. Still think he needs
to get his head straight or he is gone. Hitting into too many DP's, not
driving in runs. So he hit one today...see where that takes him...time will
tell.

I was sitting right by the wall in right field on game last week. Jose
is not putting everything out at all. He pulled up on a hit going
towards wall that he should have caught.

Jose lived in Roanoke, VA and all he ever wanted was
to see a baseball game at RFK. Jose loved baseball,
he loved da Nats. He worked and saved and at long
last bought a ticket on a Greyhound bus, but when he
got to RFK, it was all sold out. Not a seat to be had.

Jose pleaded, touched the heart of the ticket office and
they found him a seat way out in centerfield behind the
flag pole. Jose saw his baseball game and couldn't wait
to get back to Roanoke, that big gray dog couldn't run
fast enough.

"Well, Jose," they asked when he returned, "how was it?"

Jose raved. The stadium, the game, da Nats ! And most
of all the fans, so friendly, so concerned about him that
before the game they all stood up and turned to him and
sang, "Jose? Can you see?"

He is dogging it again. Has one big game and then has 5 crap games.

Trades they are a coming.....we will be getting rid of a left fielder for
sure. Is he bad out there or what! At least Jose can catch and does not
misjudge fly balls.....kind of reminds me of the '62 Mets where every fly
ball or pop-up was an adventure. Then you had Stone Fingers Stewart on
First.....what a team that was!
