Who will Austin "Unstoppable Juggernaut" Kearns run into next?
1. Young
2. Fick
3. Lopez
4. Belliard (again)
5. A visiting Nick Johnson
6. Screech
7. Teddy Roosevelt
8. Ryan Church. (Nah, he couldn't get there)

And what is the best strategy for protecting everyone?

1. Communication drills?
2. Add sonar to the new hats?
3. Warning horn for Kearns, like those delivery trucks have?

Unless he can take Ray King job as a LH specialist, or Kasten's job as team
president, I could go for Screech as the next target.

After joining game in the 2nd, I was going to suggest Kearns just run in
from RF and hit Jerome for loading the bases with the bottom of the order
with no outs, when he miraculously escapes......

"Nook Logan nearly collided with RF Austin Kearns on the first defensive
play for the Nationals. Kearns ended up sliding under Logan for a nice
catch, but it could have been a disaster."

Oh God. Thick Nick broke like kindling under "Juggernaut" Kearns. Nook
would have been a strain on the grass. Can't we put some caution lights on
Kearns?

Cow bell. Maybe two... Is Kearns really making good plays or is
he just run-into-the-wall stupid?

Nah, I kid because I like him. He's a great RF. His collisions are
because of his range. How about getting the pitcher or 2b to call off
guys?

I never understood the point in a professional player's career when it
became uncool to yell, "I got it!". Or, the attitude that a single out is
worth risking injury by crashing into things or people.
Thanks for the opinion on Kearns. With the return of Nook, it was
mentioned in passing that the LFs to date were mis-judging flyballs and
missing the cut-off man. One can't get a sense of that, following the game
in text format.
