Hey Peter, noticed in the box score that the attendance at Camden Yards was
the lowest in the history of Camden Yards last night at 16,301 - with only
14,000 actually going through the turnstiles. Let's see, 1st place, sweep
Yankees, give a party and nobody comes. Maybe Baltimore is not a Major
League town.

Good info - I've seen attendence everywhere - buy where do you get the
turnstile count from?

On the WTEM 980 AM this morning mentioned 14K and change - said it was the
smallest crowd in CY history. Looked in the box and saw the 16K number.
Either he read it wrong or he had the turnstile info and actual head count.

He was right that a team in DC combined with a team just up in Philly
would crush him. I am betting something will be happening to that
team!!! Angelos really hurt them in this market with all his antics.
I know some hard core O's fans who say they will not return to
Baltimore. They relate that Peter has shown his colors and they don't
like what they see.

I am a die-hard Red Sox fan who will learn to love the Nats over time. I
was offered a free ticket to the Red Sox game in Baltimore. I turned down
the offer. I would be tempted to buy a beer at the game. I will not give
one penny to King Peter...

The only thing that Peter proved was that he could alienate the fans in both
cities all by himself. He may be able to push around that empty suit
commisioner Bud Selig, but fans like myself are going to push back with our
wallets until he sells the team and gets out of baseball.
The group that I share my Nats tickets with had season tickets to the Oreos
for about 10 -12 years going back to the final season at Memorial Stadium.
We all came from Virginia. I personally dropped out about 3 years ago,
tired of the drive - particularly the Washington Beltway portion, and the
constant rise in prices from this greedy jerk. A remnant of the original
group kept them until this year. His attempt to block baseball in
Washington, and then screw up and monopolize the media coverage for the Nats
has everybody digging in until he is gone. Every time I listen to a game on
that "squirrel in the cage" radio station I curse Peter. The AM station is
all static. The signals from either station are so weak that they can not
be found using the scan button on my car radio when I am on the beltway. It
is a daily reminder of Peter's handiwork.
