I would like to know when to arrive to watch batting practice for
games. Can't find it on Nationals site. Advice??

On opening day Nats batted at 3:30 PM - gates did not open until 4 PM for
the opener. This may not be the regular time though since so many things
are different on opening day. Home team goes first, visitors last for BP.
I would think that 4:00 PM at the latest would be the norm on a 7:05 game.
I think each team hits for an hour and a half so in doing the math 3:30 PM
may just be the time.

I hope they do some more work on the Nat website. Such as list the
rules including when batting practice starts. I googled all over the
place and some teams start two hours early and have all the info on
site.

These guys have a long ways to go on such details and we will probably
limp along until we see an owner that puts some action to it all.
That seems to be the big item next and guess it may take all summer to
sort out.

Going to get to park around 11:30 today (if I can get the wife all
ready - sheesh - don't women know how important baseball is.)

It is the second game and I hope Metro is better then it was on
opening night. That was a nightmare that could encourage a lot of
folks to just stay home.

Hell, my wife was late for her own wedding.....now if that is not important
imagine what she thinks about everything else, particularly baseball

Of course we missed the batting practice. Arrived at couple minutes
before noon and Arizona was wrapping it up.

The vistors finish up about one hour before game time.
I got there at 11:30 today and watched the last half
hour of AZ practice.

The last hour is for liming the lines, smoothing the
infield, etc.

And dumb things like introducing the chicken mascot
