With a heater installed some of my friends can spend the weekend sledding &
have a place to sleep & be warm.

Check out camper furnaces. I looked at replacing the one in my camper. The
cost was 800 cdn for the complete furnace. Build a box to put it in, add a
couple of propane bottles, plus a 12 volt battery and your good to go.

Don't forget a carbon monoxide and propane gas detector, a bunch of kids
died on a camping trip 2 years ago. I have ridden by their last camp spot a
few times on my sled. A very sad accident that could of been prevented with
a 25 dollar detector. All camping stoves and heaters should have these
detectors built in.

I installed a "vent-free" propane heater in my spare trailer 3 years ago. I
ran a trap tube, then copper tubing to the trailer tongue, where I installed a
holder for the propane tank.

I sold the trailer a year ago. But the setup worked great.

Always buy a bigger heater than what you need!!

Nobody touched on this yet.

Why would you want your buddies sleeping in a trailer, anyway?

And what about depleted oxygen levels inside?

I originally thought that he was just joking. Now I don't know what to
think. I guess there are worse places to sleep than inside a snowmobile
trailer.
